.... is it bird?
... is it a plane?
No.
It's Super Cosy!
A strange visitor from another planet who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal cosies.
Yep. The cup IS the lantern IS the tea cosy!
Off to the Powerhouse Museum Sydney as part of a little mini exhibition during the months of March April May 2010.
In time to accompany the release of REALLY Wild Tea Cosies.
What you see here is NOT in the book. Nah. It is in my head. And on this tea pot.
Super Cosy.
Able to leap tall tables in a single pour.
Fights a never ending battle for colour, style and hot tea.

...... a slinky toy hahahahaha - wow so many guises for a humble tea cosy
Very stylish. The top stack of saucers has a relative that is a hat. Anna Zilboorg's book on hats has a pattern for stacked berets (with 2-color stranding). I have one of those I made-- very stylish hat, but it helps to use a brooch to hold the stack together at one side. If you aren't familiar with Anna Zilboorg, you might want to look up some of her work. Wonderful lady who is also a knitting philosopher!
Hello Ms Anonymous
Thanks for that. I hadn't seen any of Anna Zilboorg's work but hats are a great inspiration for tea cosies... the likes of
