Gwenda Apel Hi everyone. I thought this story would make you 😃 smile.
Meet Missy. She poked her head in our wagon when we stopped to say hello.
Missy, was orphaned as a baby calf, fed on the bottle etc, by Bruce’s (my son) Family. So much so, that she did not really want to become a cow, and would not move away from the house and join the others like her. So much so that she would wander through their house if no one was looking.
One day Bruce left his wallet on the bed and when he came back the wallet was totally disturbed and the corner of a $50.00 note was lying in the middle of the floor. No doubt Missy enjoyed her “morning tea”. Since then she has mended her ways, joined her female friends and the bull, and has had 4 calves !!!!!! She is gorgeous, and has not forgotten her first family and always comes over for a scratch and to say hello.
